Last night I attended what I hope is the first of many screenings of the short film Clear and Sunny Skies, written by the very talented filmmaker Anthony Greene. I play Beverly Porter opposite Tamieka Chavis' Beverly Jones in a story about two women that meet on a bench at the beach, with life-changing consequences. Here's the interview Tamieka and I did about the film.
I really like what you say about a time coming when you don't have the option to make a whole lot of choices. Also that when you do still have time to choose, make sure it doesn't pass you by. And the line "play not to lose or play to win"..Like it a lot. I'll see if there is a screening of this film at some time in my neck of the woods..It was fun to watch you since I've been reading your blog for awhile.
ReplyDeleteThis was the first time I've been interviewed about acting in a film and I wondered if I wasn't a bit too serious. I'm usually much more animated than that I think. Next time I should try to have more fun with it. It's been a difficult week. I'm scripting several industrials for my day job. Plus taking a class and getting ready to take some new headshots. Hoping to come up for air soon.
